NATURE OF INDIVIDUAL DIFFERENCES IN SPATIAL WORKING MEMORY IN SCHOOL-AGE CHILDREN

The article investigates the role of genetic and environmental factors in the individual characteristics of spatial working memory. The study involved 339 pairs of twins aged 10 to 17 years. Spatial working memory was assessed using the «Spatial working memory» test from the CANTABeclipse test battery. To assess the role of genetic and environmental factors structural equation modeling was used. The results show significant effects of genetic factors in individual differences in spatial working memory
